Dartwood provided consultancy services for this 700-Unit Affordable Housing Development on the outskirts of Lagos Nigeria.

The site was divided into 4 quadrants with a central open space. Each quadrant is designed as a mini community in its own right complete with parks, playgrounds and the like – a feature employed throughout the scheme to limit the impact of the high population density within this development. Road calming technique employed include the use of brightly colored (red) road finishes at neighbourhood road junctions as well as gradually raising road levels at specific strips to force down the speed of vehicles and keep the pedestrians safe.
